Qingtian stone, mainly produced in Qingtian County, Zhejiang Province, is one of the "four traditional seal stones" in China. As a kind of metamorphic intermediate-acid volcanic rock, Qingtian stone is mainly composed of pyrophyllite. As the stone material for carving handicrafts by folk artists since 1,700 years ago, Qingtian stone with Shoushan stone, Changhua stone, Balin stone as well as some other colored stones, all bear the cultural accumulation of the Chinese seal art.
