Fragrant Hills Park
Fragrant Hills Park, located in the northwest suburb of Beijing, is an imperial garden featured by mountain and forest. First built in 1186, it is a summer resort with the Incense Burner Peak as its main peak. There are numerous cultural relics, historical sites and a wide variety of trees in the park. It has landscapes consisting of elements like high mountains, famous springs, ancient trees and red leaves. Well-known at home and abroad for its red leaves, Fragrant Hills Park was appraised as one of the first fine parks of Beijing in 2002.
